Overview

The Facebook Integration allows you to connect your Pixel-AI chatbot to Facebook using Meta Developer Account. Once connected, users can message your AI bot directly from Facebook.

If Human Support is enabled, conversations can also be handled by a human agent from the Pixel-AI dashboard.

Step 1: Create App

Create an app in your Meta Developer account. If you have already created one, you can skip this step. Detailed steps for creating the app are provided in the Social Account Setup section of the Social Media Studio.

Step 2: Add Product Page

Navigate to the app dashboard and select the Messenger product from the available options

Step 3: Configure Webhook & Verify Token

1. Open your app settings and go to Messenger → Settings → Webhooks.
2. Enter the Webhook URL as shown in the screenshot.
3. Enter the Verify Token (the same token from the .env file), then click the Verify button.
4. Choose the necessary webhook events, such as messages and messaging_postbacks.
5. After successful verification, subscribe to the webhook events.

Step 4: Generate Access Token

1. Add your Facebook Business Page that is connected to your account.
2. Click on the Generate Token button to create a new token.
3. Click on the Subscription button and add the webhook subscription for the messages field.
4. We need Page ID, Page Name and Access Token to add Facebook in Pixel-AI.

Step 5: Add Facebook in Pixel-AI

1. Log in to your Pixel-AI dashboard
2. Go to the AI Tools section and open Chatbot Builder
3. Select Manage Chatbot and navigate to the Channels section to add Messenger
4. Enter the following details:
   • App ID
   • App Secret
   • Page ID
   • Page Name
   • Access Token
   • Verify Token

These credentials allow secure communication between Facebook and Pixel-AI.

Paste them into the corresponding fields inside Pixel-AI.

Live Activation

Your Facebook chatbot is now active.

Users can:

• Send messages directly from Facebook
• Receive AI-powered responses
• Request human assistance (if enabled)

All conversations are managed centrally inside your Pixel-AI dashboard.
