Segments
Overview
The Segments module allows you to create logical groupings of your contacts for targeted messaging and organized CRM management. Group users based on behavior, purchase history, or demographics.
Segments provide a way to organize your contact directory into manageable groups. This ensures that your marketing broadcasts and automation flows are delivered to the right audience at the right time.
- Logical Grouping: Categorize users (e.g., "VIP Users", "Festival Buyers").
- Targeted Messaging: Select specific segments when launching campaigns.

Dashboard Navigation
The Segments dashboard provides a high-level view of your audience organization:
- Segment List: View segment names, descriptions, and the total number of contacts assigned to each.
- Search & Filter: Quickly locate a specific segment using the search bar.
- Creation Date: Track when segments were established for historical context.
Creating a Segment
Follow these steps to establish a new contact grouping:
- Step 1: Initiation: Click the + Add Segment button on the dashboard header.
- Step 2: Identification: Enter a clear Name and Description (e.g., "High Value Customers").
- Step 3: Contact Selection: Choose the contacts you wish to include in this logical group.
- Step 4: Save: Click "Save" to finalize the segment.

Multiple Segment Assignment
One of the features of the Wapi contact management system is the ability to assign contacts to multiple segments simultaneously. This allows for highly granular targeting.
Assigning Multiple Segments from Contacts Category:
- Navigate to the Contacts page.
- Select the desired contacts using the checkboxes.
- Click the Add to Segment button at the top right of the table.
- In the dropdown menu, select all segments you wish to apply to these contacts.
